Biserica de lemn a fost ridicata in anul 1785 si a inlocuit o biserica mai veche de lemn si a fost mutata din Brusturi in Oradea in 1961 unde a fost reasamblata si restaurata in curtea Muzeului Tarii Crisurilor iar la ora actuala se gaseste in central statiunii Baile Felix.

Datorita modificarilor aduse acestei biserici de-a lungul timpului, cea mai mare parte din picturile ei au avut de suferit, astfel ca in prezent, putin din decorul pictat al Bisericii de Lemn se mai pastreaza.
Inscriptia din partea superioara a portalului Bisericii de Lemn aminteste momentul edificarii bisericii – "Anii Domnului 1785 în luna lui mai în 4 zile sâmbătă. Meșter Toadere".
